The Plan

We are off on the ferry bound for Caen then we drive across France to Switzerland at Basel and on to St Gallen. We have an overnight stop in Burnhaupt-le-Haut along the way.
After 5 nights with our friends in St Gallen we set off once again via Geneva and an overnight stop in Charolles in France then arrive in Jard-sur-Mer on the next day.
After 2 weeks there we drive to St Malo for two nights before getting the ferry home.

A gentle day today; my bike needed a new inner tube so Percy fitted that for me while I did some cross-stitch. This was kit that my friend Charley had given my 3 years ago, a map of New Zealand, last time we were here I managed to get about three quarters of the first round of edging done and this trip I hope to get the border completed.

We had a little cycle ride refamiliarising ourselves with the area. The town was busy as it was Market Day but we got about well enough and also found where Charley’s brother and his wife now have a house, they already own a flat down by the sea.

We did a bigger shop and bought meat and potatoes for supper.
