The Plan

We are off on the ferry bound for Caen then we drive across France to Switzerland at Basel and on to St Gallen. We have an overnight stop in Burnhaupt-le-Haut along the way.
After 5 nights with our friends in St Gallen we set off once again via Geneva and an overnight stop in Charolles in France then arrive in Jard-sur-Mer on the next day.
After 2 weeks there we drive to St Malo for two nights before getting the ferry home.

Another really hot and sunny day, misty start after the overnight storm but must be 30 degrees again this afternoon.
Karen had a very early start today as she had 130+ sitting English exams. Derrick was able to take most of the day off which has been lovely. We went off on this lovely local walk for an hour and a half or so and stopped at a pub for lunch on the way back.
Shame we are off on our route across Switzerland tomorrow as it's been a lovely week with excellent company and brilliant weather.

    I forgot I could comment here Will, maybe Esmé will go and see the tree for herself.Hopefully on a day when the temperature was not 32 degrees in the shade!
